Foundation Crack Sealing

Foundation Crack Sealing for Pest Entry

Serving homeowners across the Wasatch Front and Cache Valley.

Cracks and gaps in foundation plaster are one of the most common ways insects get into a home. We seal up those entry points as part of proper crack repair and replastering — closing off the gaps, not just covering them.

No shortcuts — every step matters for how long it lasts.

The team at Foundation Plaster Repair did excellent work and made sure the project met expectations. The areas around the foundation and stairwell look so much better. I would recommend them.

Common Questions

Foundation Crack Sealing for Pest Entry FAQ

Do you treat or exterminate pests?+

No — we're not a pest control company, and we won't pretend to be. What we do is seal the cracks and gaps in your foundation plaster that insects use to get in. If you're dealing with an active infestation, we'd recommend a licensed pest control company alongside this work, not instead of it.

How much does crack sealing cost?+

It depends on how many cracks or gaps need sealing and their size. Our minimum for patch work is $500 — we'll give you an exact number after a free in-person estimate.

Will sealing cracks actually keep bugs out?+

Properly sealing the physical gaps they're using to get in helps a lot, but it's one part of pest prevention, not a complete pest-control solution. We're honest about that.

What kind of foundation gaps let insects in?+

Cracks in the plaster, gaps where old patch jobs have separated, and deteriorating plaster with small openings are the most common entry points we see.
